About the gym

The gym is tucked back in the woods with no distractions other than the wild life that come into the yard. In most cases, you will receive one on one training guidance from a National Strength and Conditioning Association certified and experienced strength and conditioning professional. You will be working with a professional strength coach that has trained State, National and World champions, record holders, high school and NCAA division one collegiate athletes.

If you think you are coming into a glitzy chrome equipment filled carpeted gym with a juice bar, bistro, lattes, large screen plasma TV on the wall with surround sound, masseuse on duty, supplements and junk food counter you are dead wrong. It is none of the above.

This is a hardcore, no frills, strength training gym, with a concrete floor. Serious strength training is conducted with free weights.

There are very few machines. The music is interesting. You will not be spending much time doing silly things on a stability ball or running or biking on machines, nor will you be needlessly running around the property just for the sake of doing something to fill up the time.

Everything in this gym has a purpose and that is to get you mentally and physically stronger.

Equipment

Explosivelyfit strength trains athletes and non-athletes, female and male, of all sizes and skill levels with the following equipment.

  • 8-10 Olympic bars including the Texas power bar and the Elite dead lift bar.

  • Free weights in both Olympic and standard sizes with about 10,000 pounds of Olympic weights alone.
  • Fixed barbells from 20-110 pounds
  • Dumb bells from 3-115 pounds
  • Tubes and jump stretch rubber bands of 15, 25, 75, and 100 pounds at the workout length.
  • Benches for decline, incline and flat presses

It is a fully equipped strength training gym.

Prior to starting out it will be to your advantage to mentally prepare for these forty five to fifty minute sessions. Visualize getting stronger, lifting hard and putting forth the effort to succeed in your training.

You will become mentally and physically stronger because of your training. I suspect you will even surprise yourself at what you can do once you’ve set your mind to it.

Study after study has shown that you make better progress with your own personal strength coach. The reasons vary, but most center on the ongoing encouragement, motivation and program design that a knowledgeable strength coach provides.

Training fees

Local taxes apply to all services

Each session normally runs between 50 and 60 minutes

General adult fees

  • $85.00 per month, 2 times per week

High school student fee

  • $75.00 per month, 2 times per week

One on one personal training

  • Ongoing, one on one program schedules, full email and phone support $100.00 per session.

Important notice to you and your wallet

In all cases, if you cancel your session, arrive more than fifteen minutes late, or do not show up at all, you have lost that training day and it will not be carried over to a future date or time.

This is a strength training gym, not a social club, and if you are serious about getting strong, it means you are conscientious about making your scheduled training days as well.

Each one that is missed can never be recovered, time moves on and it is simply an opportunity that has passed you by. Don't miss your training days.
