The bench press is unquestionably one of the favorite exercises performed in the gyms worldwide. It’s pretty easy to do, or so many people think. It makes you feel so strong and powerful doing it. And it’s certainly impressive when the forty-fives start piling up on the bar.

So why do so many physical fitness buffs have problems with this exercise? Maybe it’s because it is so deceptively simple looking.

The bench press has to be developed properly or eventually your progress will stop either cold turkey or you will become injured.
